I was upset today to hear the news of the death of one of my biggest idols, Ari Up from the girl punk group the Slits. If you haven't heard of them go youtube them now! they are pure girl punk power! By far in my opinion better idols to us girls than most of the current girl bands. The wit and intelligence weaved into the Reggae punk beats are well worth a listen, especially in the context of a male dominated music scene. Ari is an insanely inspirational woman, and theres no denying it.

Rest in peace Ari for you entirely deserve it!

I officially announce this to be the best festival ever!
It was full of vintage goodness from all era's and at all prices!

It had music from all era's also, plus i was at the front for one of my favourite bands ever, The Buzzcocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus there was a whole village set out containing a replica Abbey road studios, 1960's John Lewis aswell as fortnum and mason and oxfam!

As you can probably guess i bought a fair amount which i will share with you all soon :)

Rehoming a rescue dog was something we've always wanted to do and when we met Goldie we knew he was the dog for us and we all instantly fell in love with him! we got him the day after i got back from Paris and its been like having a baby in the house, hence the lack of blogging.

So im getting my hair cut for the first time in monnnnnths tomorrow, but i don't know what to doooo! i want to get my fringe back in a way after seeing these photos, but it's too hot for a fringe at the moment. The title comes from an Elliott Smith song called "Everybody cares, everybody understands", if you haven't heard of Elliott dose yourself with his music now! His lyrics are beautiful and hes one of the only artists with whom i have a pure connection with in terms of his music. I suggest listening to his album "xo" as a starter, its a pure masterpiece!
